I've only had the S6 shirt about a week. It is a little cumbersome to put on until you get the hang of it. And there has been a little excitement when the neck zipper didn't easily release so I could lower it to get remove the shirt.
However, the weather has cooperated with testing the S6. Local temperatures have been 5˚F ( 15˚C) or lower and I have been warm when active while wearing 200wt long sleeved Icebreaker shirt beneath the S6 shirt.
An added bonus is my son is taller than me by 6 inches and out weights me by several pounds, but he has a smaller chest. The S6 fits him and on short trips on an ATV in only slightly warmer temperatures he reports he was completely warm despite the extra wind chill while riding.

good smock has been around for years may be a bit outdated now but still a good piece of kit that will outlast all the latest smocks/styles on the market by far and wont let you down, just does what it says no more no less,as the saying goes any fool can be wet and uncomfortable, forget the adage too bulky what a load of nonsence, loads of copys ie montane ect out there, you cant beat the original.

Prob not the best time of year to be writing a review as this smock will prob sit
at bottom of your Bergan until at least end Sept/Oct lol.
Well worth the money and will last for years a good investment, great piece of kit, no frills and not for primma donnas, does the job as they say,I have tried all the alternatives in horrible weather and this one is hard to beat,a bit more expensive than the others but you get what you pay for.
Smock is not designed for posing, does the job its designed for, highly recommend if youre a serious outdoor person who doesnt care about looks ect.
