Just returned from completing the first half of the Coast-to-coast walk, so glad I invested in these socks - not a hint of a blister throughout a week of a tough 15 miles each day including High Stile and Haystacks. Feet stayed cosy, dry and comfortable - highly recommended
very good fit,for my size boot (43) a good grip on the foot and good mix of wool and man made fibres for good compromise of comfort and elasticity.Of course a lot to pay for a sock, value for money will depend on how long it lasts. Good, prompt delivery and post free appreciated.
what are these meindl socks made of , wool ? which sort of wool - .I'm used to wearing Teko or Smart wool socks which are merino wool - very soft, how do the meindl ones compare ?

Hi Barry, the description Meindl gave us isn't very helpful, so I've got a pair in front of me!
54% Polyester
26% Virgin Wool
10% Cotton
8% Polyamide
2% Elastane
As you can see - quite different from Smartwool/Teko! If it is any help, they do feel very soft and are one of our most popular socks.
