These are excellent quality, very sturdy boots. I have found them to be too stiff for my feet over long hikes.
I also have worn them quite a lot on the rocks and cliffs when fishing. The vibrant sole is excellent and takes abuse from the sharp rocks.
I am brutal on my boots due to fishing and these are lasting that abuse.
I did however put them away dirty and wet as I was tired and left them for months, the rubber feather line around the boot has perished but that's my fault so be warned.
These are excellent, sturdy, supportive but very stiff and take a long time to break in.

Excellent mid ankle boot. Not as high as a normal army boot which I find great as it takes the pressure from my knees. Good solid vibram sole and plenty of ankle support. Ive used them on steep ground and they worked well. I would recommend a set of insoles if you have a narrow heel like me as they tend to rub. They kept the water out pretty well over a long wet day. I dont have them that long so we'll see how they stand the test of time, I cant give them 5 stars until I see how long they last
