I have an Aladin Pro and the battery has just died. From looking at the battery you have here I suspect that I have a later model as there is no battery access cover on mine, it looks like you would have to take the case apart. If this is the case can I still get a replacement battery ? My local dive shop says that I would have to buy a new computer.

This sounds like you have a later generation Aladdin Pro which can needs to be returned to Scubapro / Uwatec via any Uwatec Dealer. The cost of battery replacement currently £60.00 including Postage.
Should there be a fault with the computer a service exchange unit can be issued. (ie: you have the option of a new Aladdin Prime at £195.00 usual RRP £235.00, or Upgrade to The Tec 2G £299.00 usual RRP £339.00.
