I used to use a similar buckle on a waveski so I bought this belt to use as a quick release seatbelt in my sea kayak. It is just the right length and the two plastic weight keepers were perfect for locking it in place. Being belted in has really connected me to every movement of the sea and reduced the amount of knee bracing especially when bracing or rolling. It is way better than the metal flap type buckles that tend to slip. Delivery was really prompt. If I can figure out how to attach one to my other recreational kayak I will be back to buy another for sure.
