How to use Aqua-Tape:

  • Cut length as required.
  • The smooth surface side is the side to glue.
  • Apply one coat of glue to the tape and the other surface that requires it.
  • Wait for it to go tacky and then apply a second coat to both surfaces.
  • Finally, again wait for the glue to become tacky and then bond the surfaces together.
  • No iron necessary.
  • An extra pair of hands is really useful. If you are repairing drysuit cuffs for example, fizzy drinks bottles are great to hold the shape.
  • The neck seal is a little more difficult, you can use a traffic cone if available.
