This was recommended to me as a map for waling in the MacGillycuddy's Reeks in preference to the one published by the Irish Ordnance Survey.
For those used to British OS maps it's style is significantly different, but once you get used to that its presentation is quite clear. The additional tourist info is well placed, so it doesn't get in the way of the important geography.
The weight of the paper means that it should also stand up to use out in the field as well.
A very good map with good details. Good quality to take with you on a hiking tour.
