IST Gauge Reader Dive Mask with +1.75 built-in Bifocal Lenses £62.99
IST Sports Gauge Dive Mask With Bifocal Reading Lenses
The IST Sports Gauge mask is the perfect mask for divers needing some magnification to see their gauges and dive computer clearly. The lower quarter section of the mask is angled downwards and has a +1.75 lens which magnifies consoles etc.
Ever looked at your computer and wished the numbers looked bigger? The built in prescription lenses are a more affordable alternative to changing lenses in the mask completley. This allows you to see normally through the main lenses and yet, the ability to look down and see everything bigger.
Ideal for photographers, videographers, “mature” divers and just about anyone who need a near vision correction to help read diving gauges.
Review: I am happy with the IST Gauge Reader. I now have no issues reading my computer and gauges without compromising my dive and long distance vision, have now got two of these as it folds up very nicely and sist in my BCD pocket just in case. If you needed a relatively small amount of correction these do a pretty decent job of it and are well worth a go. The standard correction is +1.75 each side. Don’t forget you also get a 25% increase in magnification anyway due to the differences in refraction / air gap with any mask, so this could well be enough for you. If you have ever tried bifocals, or multifocal glasses then that is exactly the way these work. You simply “look down” to use the magnifying section to read your dive computer or pressure gauge, and straight ahead or up to see through the uncorrected part. I recommended it.

I bought this from Jackson after losing a different make one.
They are a godsend if, like me, your reading distance sight is getting worse - I can read my computer and gauges in warm, clear water with a clear lens, but not in the UK waters, I usually dive in.
I had another of these for 3 years or so, but the silicone fitting piece on the mask, that the strap adjustment clip attaches to ripped through. I repaired it a couple of times, but in the end it was beyond repair.
Sadly, I suspect this one will go the same way in time, which is why it gets 4, rather than 5, stars.

I am really Pleased with this mask, the dual bifocal lens makes it's so easy to read gauges, diving computers and using the GoPro.
The actual fit of the mask is on the large size. Overall it was an excellent choice!
