I have been eyeing these gloves up for quite sometime and I finally bit the bullet.
So, I got a size small due to my Petzl Cortex being that size.
The dexterity on the Marmot is nice. The wrist cuffs tho were a little tight initially, but with being careful the first few times at putting them on and taking them off they have loosened up a little.
I use them primarily now as a belay glove and, sorting gear, loading Kayaks etc.
Not super warm although they are lined. For the price, you won't go wrong, of that i'm sure.
They're well made and will last longer than the cortex if you are looking for a good belay glove.
Bit of gear feedback: I grabbed a last-minute week (last week of the 2017 ski season) in the Dolomites just before Easter, and used the Marmot Work Gloves as my ski gloves all week. They are excellent! I had treated them with saddle soap a few months ago which helped with water resistance (it was roasting all week), and they stood up well to the sharp metal edges on my skis when carrying them. All in, very impressed and pleased with them - noticeably better quality than other rawhide gloves that I've tried and been disappointed with! Comfy too, and a better feel for skiing in than the usual thick ski gloves. I fell a lot (was telemarking) so they earned their keep in protecting my Fairy-soft hands too... :):)
Even after looking at the reviews which recommended ordering a size bigger than the palm measurement indicated - the size ordered (XL) were not big enough and so we're returned. I was really disappointed and the fact that they are no longer in stock and won't be until September. The fact that they are classed/regarded/advertised as 'working gloves' you are not allowed to have cold hands or protect them after 1 March!
Don't get me wrong - the gloves are excellent; well made, tough and well worth the cost but try and get hold of a pair after 1 March - forget it...
