Palm Equipment Quick SUP Leash Paddle Board Accessory £24.99
![]() Palm Equipment Quick SUP Leash An elasticated 3 metre / 9.78 feet SUP leash with a breakaway safety system. Mounting your leash to a quick release waistbelt is important around currents and moving water, in estuaries, harbours and rivers. Being able to reliably disconnect from your leash can save you from becoming entangled. This leash adds a failsafe to your ability to detach from your leash under load. By setting the amount of velcro in contact at both ends of the leash you can choose the strain that is required for the leash and SUP to break away from you. With the velcro fully attached the leash will break-away at 0.5 kN. Compatible with the Palm Quick SUP Belt, Quick Rescue belt and the Quick Pro belt. Features:

Using Your Quick SUP Leash: Familiarise yourself with the Quick SUP leash and test the breakaway connectors release at the desired load before taking to the water. Due to the breakaway design, this Quick SUP leash is not suitable for use in the surf zone. The Quick SUP leash is compatible with most Palm Quick belts. It can be set to breakaway in an emergency. Breakaway connectors at each end can be set to release at varying loads if you get tangled or entrapped on moving water. To use with Palm Quick belts:
The breakaway connectors are at each end of the leash. The breakway force varies with the amount of overlap. Where there are no entanglement risks and you prefer to stay connected to your board, use the full overlap. On moving water, especially where there are exposed rocks or trees and a risk of entanglement, use a shorter overlap. Rinse after use and keep hook and loop clear of debris to ensure best performance. To get the most out of your Quick SUP leash, we suggest you seek training in the use of leashes. |
