my platypus tube was developing a black fungal growth inside ,which i am sure was not too healthy to be drinking through. The cleaning kit was simple to use ,very effective and quick.The platypus cleaning kit does "exactly what it says on the tin". A brilliant product.
The pull-through is fine for the length of tube/hose. However the bristle brush is too short to clean the 2litre bladder. Also the plastic handle part is too wide and too long. Too wide to shove the brush into the bladder neck/nozzle. To long, as in as its too wide with a 4 inch length, it essentially shortens the brush by 4 inches.

This Platy Cleaning Kit comes in very handy when cleaning my platypus hydration system it gets in all the 'nooks and cranys' (hard to reach places) you can't reach by hand.
Did you forget about that full Platy in your pack from last summer? Make them new again with these tube and reservoir brushes.
