What more could you ask for? I have found this to be an affordable and versatile lightweight down jacket. Seems to be structured for the slimmer figured folks so that is great for me. Even has room for perhaps an additional layer. Great fit for me. It is sufficiently warm to take the chill off (700 down I believe). It is light enough and compressible enough to toss in the rucksack when not needed. The only slight nit is that it does not have an interior pocket, which is typically where I like to stash my reading glasses.

I bought the Rab Microlight to replace a Patagonia jacket I believed I had lost. I was amazed at how much warmer the Rab was on a walk by the ocean last evening. The only thing I am a bit disappointed about is that it doesn't have wrist straps to close off the arm heat loss, but it may not need them because the jacket is so warm

I bought this as a gift and it has been very well received. We had to check that it wasn't made in China because of their appalling human rights record etc. Fortunately, its made in Indonesia. I was also interested in Shackleton coats, as they are UK made, but Jackson don't stock them.
