Review: Excellent primary dive light for my needs. There are different models of the Nova 850. The 850 TEC is a twist on and off style light that is single power of 850 lumen. The Nova 850 TEC is powered by 3 C-cell batteries that are not included with the light (Both rechargeable and disposable C batteries will work). The 850 is a push button light with two power modes, full or 50% power. There is also the 850R and 850R Wide that are powered by a separate rechargeable battery and have the push button switch and two power modes.
