Scubapro Octopus Holder Clip Mouthpiece Plug For Regulators £8.50
Scubapro Octopus Holder With Clip
Octopus Holder for Scubapro and similar sized regulators. Quick and easy release system allows your dive buddy to grab the octopus when it is needed.
The Scubapro Octopus Retainer is a soft, flexible clip that not only secures the octopus to your BCD whilst still allowing rapid deployment but also includes a plug to push into the mouthpiece opening to help prevent grit and other contaminants from entering the housing as well as helping to prevent uncontrolled freeflows. The lightweight clip fits around the neck of the mouthpiece and the plug is a snug fit into the mouthpiece. Pulling the octopus will easily release the clip when needed.
Review: Secure Hold holder that keeps it from dragging. It clips around the air outlet of the mouthpiece and then has a plug to put in the opening of the mouth piece. The plug would help keep out debris and reduce free flowing. I like the color for identification. I am an instructor and I have been using this for a while now. I don't see any signs of wear after a dozen or more dives. It does keep the Octo secure and keeps the mouthpiece clear. Optionally, you could replace the clip if you have something you like better. It does work fine. Recommended.

I personally thing these are the best octopus holders available but for some reason they seem quite difficult to get hold of. I actually have 4 of them used between 2 BCDs - 3 were purchased from Jackson Sports. 1 I managed to pick up in a store in London.
The mouthpiece plugs mean there will never be any sand - or anything else - getting into your second stages and causing problems and it's quite nice they are available in two colours to clearly differentiate between the primary second stage and octopus.
There are other good octo holders out there for sure, but I would always go for these.

This octopus holder is the best one I've tried on the market.
It's very easy to put on the octopus and it's held fairly secure.
When you need your octopus in an emergency it releases easily

After seeing this octopus holder in use by instructors in Egypt snd using other products. This is the best holder I have used. Its simplicity and ease of use is excellent.
