We pioneered the use of a unique hydrophilic membrane that's 100% waterproof yet pulls moisture away from your skin at the molecular level -- keeping you dry and cool all at the same time. And with a Hydrostatic Head of >20,000mm, our socks stay waterproof under the toughest of conditions. Our Waterproof Cold Weather Mids will keep you dry and warm in leaky waders, through stream crossings, and in rain, snow, and mud. Around the clock protection, we like to think that every person should keep a pair in their pack -- just in case.

Technical Features:

Our 100% waterproof socks are constructed using premium materials and by bonding three layers together to make one highly waterproof and breathable sock:

• Outer Layer - 90% Nylon, 10% Elastane
• Middle Layer - 100% Hydrophilic Membrane
• Inner Layer - 35% Merino Wool, 35% Acrylic, 23% Polyester, 3.5% Nylon, 3.5% Elastane

Merino Wool - Finer than traditional wool with tiny overlapping scales that case each fibre, these scales are hydrophobic (water repellent). Inside it's a different story, the fibre core is hydrophilic (highly absorbant). Merino is therefore a wicking fibre and can absorb and release 10 times more moisture than synthetics. Each fibre can absorb up to one third of its own weight in moisture without feeling clammy or wet to the touch. In our socks and gloves, the moisture is then wicked through the membrane to keep you feeling warm and dry.

Our Sealskinz socks correspond to shoe sizing. Take a look below to find your perfect fit.

• The measurements below are your shoe size, so if you are a UK size 7 we recommend you would be a size M (Medium).
• If you are at the top of a size such as a UK 8 to 8 1/2 we recommend you move up in size as our waterproof socks are thicker than normal socks.

Care Instructions:

• Do Not Machine Wash, Tumble Dry, Dry Clean, or Iron

Waterproof Sock Care:

We don’t like complicated things. And when it comes to the care of your socks, we want to make it as simple as possible. This is the type of sock you can throw in the wash along with the rest of your gear. No need to line dry or wash with special detergents. Since the membrane is a solid barrier, you’ll never need to re-waterproof.
