* Please note: Comfort and Low-temperature figures are given for guidance only. Snugpak’s performance figures are drawn from over forty years of experience and customer feedback. Our comfort figure assumes you will be sleeping lightly clothed (thermal base layer or PJ’s) within a tent on a good quality sleep mat, at this external temperature the majority of users should feel comfortable and get a good night’s sleep. The low-temperature ratings are temperatures the sleeping bags have been used at by fit individuals with the minimum of discomfort. There are many variables involved in a good night’s sleep, including climate, altitude, fitness and metabolism, if in doubt stick to the comfort figure. Features:
Fabric & Insulation:
Micro Diamond fabric: Micro Diamond Ripstop provides a lightweight, water repellent casing, produced to Snugpak’s exact specification. The mini diamond weave and the lustre of the yarn give a unique look. Paratex Antibacterial fabric: The latest breakthrough in antibacterial technology this specialist antibacterial and antimicrobial treatment on the outer and linings of our sleeping bags acts to discourage the growth of bacteria. This results in a reduction of odours and the need for regular laundering of the sleeping bag to keep it smelling fresh, ideal for prolonged tropical travel where temperatures may be high and facilities limited. The paratex® base fabrics wicking properties and high breathability remain unaffected by the bacteria busting treatments. Travelsoft Insulation: Travelsoft insulation is tailored to Snugpak’s exact brief. Ultra-lightweight high loft fine fibres are used which have excellent compressibility. By design, these travel orientated fibres provide less bulk of fill, yet are still able to perform very efficiently. The weight of the fibres makes it the perfect fill for adventure travel-orientated equipment.

Sleeping Bag Care & Storage Washing All Snugpak® sleeping bags are fully washable by hand or even by a washing machine. We provide all the instruction on the care label, which you can find sewn into one of the inner seams. However, even the highest grade of insulation/filling will eventually lose some thermal efficiency and structure after repeated wash cycles, so we recommend that washing your sleeping bag should not be done often, especially when using a washing machine. Whenever possible, instead of a full wash, we recommend sponging both inner and outer fabrics with soap and water. Then dry and air your sleeping bag thoroughly before storing back in its compression sack. If you are machine washing your sleeping bag make sure you read the following guidelines for best results.
Snugpack Top Tip: Using a loose liner, which can be washed separately as often as you like, to extend your sleeping bags life. Bag liners will also add an extra layer of comfort and warmth to your bag. Drying We recommend you line dry your sleeping bag and we recommend you do not tumble dry. Warning: Drying sleeping bags in a tumble drier could result in heat damage to the items. This can happen even when using a low-temperature setting if the sleeping bag is left in the dryer too long or doesn’t have enough space in which to tumble freely. Reproofing We use a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish on all our sleeping bags, water repellency can be maintained with periodic re-treatment with suitable aftercare products such as Nikwax Water Proofers. Storage & Packing Do not store the bag compressed for long periods between uses. While we sometimes roll sleeping bags at the factory for despatch, we would not advise emulating this without special machinery. Packing a sleeping bag correctly can save you time and more importantly space within your rucksack for your adventure, all you have to do is follow these simple steps to get the best from your Snugpak sleeping bag.
When space in your rucksack is vital you will need to have a sleeping bag that can be compressed down to a minimal size. Snugpak sleeping bags can be compressed by up to 60% making them ideal for all adventures. However, to guarantee that you get the sleeping bag to it’s most compressed, you have to pack and compress it correctly (Please see the above info )
Please Note: All of our sleeping bags are machine rolled using specialist equipment and will need removing from the compression sack once purchased before you can compress the sleeping bag entirely.
